Job description

·         Lower Hutt based

·         Set strategic direction for the marketing function of the business

·         Provide effective leadership to the team

 

You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the marketing function for this organisation, ensuring they are promoted and marketed to the highest standard.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Leadership of the marketing team

·         Preparation and execution of marketing plans

·         Build and maintain strong Stakeholder relationships

·         Developing a strong image and market position that is relevant and dynamic

·         Creation, maintenance and review of brand identity and guidelines

·         Developing a social media strategy

·         Briefing and working with external agency providers

·         Content and maintenance of marketing materials on the website and other digital channels

·         Analysis of impact and effectiveness of marketing activities

·         Build and maintain a relationship with local media

·         Administration of the marketing budget

·         Preparation of monthly reports and quarterly board reports

 

Competencies Required:

·         Commercial nous, an understanding of business principles, drivers, opportunities and threats and the ability to utilise these to enhance business performance

·         Customer focussed, you will see customers and stakeholders as paramount and work to anticipate their needs and ensure their satisfaction

·         Highly organised with strong planning skills

·         Strong relationship management skills

·         Results focused, enthusiastic and driven
