Our Palmerston North based client manufactures and installs structural insulated panels. Our clients performance panels are the preferred choice for all building applications in cold chain environments. We are recruiting for a position that will assist our client in the manufacturing section of their business.

This role is a manufacturing position, you will be working on machines that process and produce insulated panels for cold store environments. You will operate machines to cut the panels to size and to install the protective covering on the panels. The role can be physically demanding at times as these panels can weigh up to 50kgs.

Ideally this role will start at a machine operator/labourer with the intent of moving into a leading hand position so if you are wanting to make a step up and make a career in a manufacturing environment this role could be for you.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm - you must be flexible to do occasional overtime

  • Forklift licence is an advantage
