The ideal candidate will be:
* Highly skilled with excel and using detailed spreadsheets
* Investigative
* Self- motivated
* Able to compile accurate, analytical data
* Skilled in/have experience of Cost/Manufacturing Accounting
* Able to conduct business activities in accordance with Company policy and statutory requirements
* Able to do MTD & YTD manufacturing variance analysis and production reporting
* Able to maintain, monitor and provide supporting analysis of cost accounting records
* Able to report on Capex spend compared to approved budget.
* Able to monitor budget v actual and collate the commentary on variances to forecast.
* Able to monitor and report on monthly metrics across the manufacturing business.
* Able to assist with the annual external audit with globally designated group auditors.

The successful candidate will add value to the production process by analysing production related data and ultimately, look at opportunities to optimise the production operations.

This is a hands on and varied role that will be project oriented so we need someone with great communication skills that enjoys getting out in the plant and talking to staff on the ground floor. Interaction with engineering, ops & supply chain is a pivotal part of the role.
