We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Hornby based client for a Trade Qualified Maintenance Engineer.

The role primarily involves repairs, preventative and general maintenance to all fixed plant machines. This factory operates 24 hours a day. The role will be on day shift however there may be some on call work from time to time.

Role will involve:

• Machine maintenance on older machines
• Fault finding
• Repairing machinery
• Providing system support
• Machine shutdowns

  The successful candidate must have:

  • Trades Certificate in a Mechanical Engineering field
  • Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to learn new skills

    The successful person must be able to provide 2 work references and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
