Maintenance Coordinator


Job description

Our well respected, global manufacturing client is looking for a full time, permanent Maintenance Coordinator to provide mechanical expertise to the manufacturing site based in Mount Maunganui. Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager the position is responsible for coordinating and leading the activities of the various maintenance contractors onsite.

Responsibilities include:
• Maximising plant uptime and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Oversee site maintenance to ensure quality of work is maintained to a high standard.
• Effectively utilise resources – time, money and people.
• Ensure the application of health and safety best practices.

You will have
• Proven experience in a maintenance role ideally within the manufacturing industry.
• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
• Previous experience in coordinating major shutdown activities.
• A history of managing engineering staff in previous positions.
• Previous experience working with MHF facilities would be highly desirable.
