Technical Operator / Machinist

South Auckland Based

Urgently looking for a technical operator/machinist who is looking for long term permanent role based in South Auckland. You will be part of a small team and training is provided to the right candidate.

To be successful, you need to have the following:

• Strong mechanical diagnostic problem solving skills
• An uncompromising attitude towards H&S
• Experience working on high precision grinding, milling and turning to close tolerances
• Experience in CNC machining preferred
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• You enjoy being part of a team environment but have ability to work unsupervised
• Have mechanical aptitude, preferably hold a trade qualification in fitting
• Be computer proficient
• Be a motivated self-starter with strong follow through of tasks and positive "can do" team attitude
