Machinist / Fitter / Welder

South Auckland Based

Urgently looking for a trade qualified maintenance Machinist / fitter / welder who is looking for long term permanent role based in South Auckland. You will be part of a busy team that provides round the clock preventative maintenance services to ensure high quality engineering solutions are provided to all company machinery and equipment to ensure maximum operational availability. Your main duties will be:

  • Condition monitoring, preventative maintenance, maintenance repairs and breakdowns
  • Technical support for mechanical and operational investigation/fault finding
  • Ability to step up to team leader role when required

    To be successful, you need to have the following:

    • Strong mechanical diagnostic problem solving skills
    • National Certificate in Welding/Fabrication Level 4
    • Tertiary qualification or Trades Qualification/background
    • An uncompromising attitude towards H&S
    • Ability to work in team environment
    • Significant experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems diagnostics and maintenance
    • You enjoy being part of a team environment but have ability to work unsupervised
