We have 2 vacancies available, a day shift machine operator position along with an afternoon shift machine operator/ truck loader position.

Description

Our client is a leading supplier to the NZ Construction industry providing leading edge roofing, cladding, and solar products across NZ. With 12 branches nationwide and having been in business for over 50 years they are a solid company with strong H&S practices and strong values.

The role

We are currently seeking 2 fit, able and reliable people for 2 separate roles. These positions are both full time Monday to Friday however the start and finish times vary. Both roles have strong potential of transitioning into permanent work.

The first role is a day shift position from 6am until 3pm & is predominantly a machine operating role.

The second position is a 2.30pm - 11.00pm pm shift, this is a combined role of both machine operation & the picking and packing of roofing materials using a combination of a gantry crane once trained and manual handling.

Full training will be provided for both positions however we are seeking individuals with the following skills and attributes;

  • Factory/Manufacturing or stores/ dispatch background (Advantageous but not essential)
  • High Accuracy
  • Able to Multi Task
  • Physically fit and able
  • Is highly efficient and is able to handle pressure.
  • Able to deal with challenges and variety
  • Has great communication skills and is a team player
  • Takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail and is thorough.
  • Full clean drivers licence (forklift and gantry crane licences advantageous however not essential)
