Company

Our client is a small family-oriented food manufacturing company based in Pakuranga. They are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The roles we have available would suit someone mechanically minded, experienced with machine operation, and a background in food manufacturing.

Role

This is a Monday to Friday, day shift position.

The Work hours are 7.30 AM - 5.00 PM with some overtime required at times.

Duties:

• Responsible for operating their machines and oven
• Cleaning and maintenance of machinery
• Quality control checks
• Assisting the production team at times to cover breaks
• Over time you will be required to operate all machinery in the factory to provide support
• Trouble-shooting

  Skills and Attributes

  • Must have experience as a machine operator
  • Background in food manufacturing
  • Mechanically minded and able to do repairs and maintenance on machinery
  • Good at problem-solving
  • Be a team player
  • Have GMP
  • Able to work in a hot environment
