Job description

Our client is one of Australasia's largest manufacturers of recycled resin and reconditioners of drums and IBCs. They are currently seeking machine operators to assist at their busy site based in EAST TAMAKI.

Duties will involve:

  • Operating machinery to crush down plastic waste.
  • Sorting through recycling waste.
  • Using machinery to manufacturer plastic sheets.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Prior experience as a machine operator.
    • Previous role working in plastic manufacturing would be ideal.
    • Be able to handle heavy lifting and manual handling.
    • Must have good knowledge of health and safety.
    • Must be a hands-on person not fussed with getting your hands dirty.

      Payrate is $20.00 p/h. The shifts are based on a rotational roster; Mon - Fri 6pm - 6am for 2weeks, then Mon - Fri 6pm - 6am. This is an ongoing full-time role available for an immediate start.

      To be successful in this role, you MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and you MUST be able to provide 2 VALID work references.
