This thriving business requires a person who is eager to learn, who is enthusiastic to create a career by being hands-on in all that is asked of them. In return you will be fully trained on specific modified plant machinery. All the machinery is computer programme controlled with touch screen operating panels.

To be successful in progressing further you need to have the following attributes:

• Have an understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics (plastic industry experience would be ideal)
• Worked with a steam boiler (desirable)
• Mechanically minded
• Understanding of PLC controlled equipment
• Have a logical approach, patient and cope well with pressure
• Good computer skills
• Reliable and flexible with hours (occasional Saturday morning work)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fit and healthy
• Minimum of restricted drivers licence and own transport
• Must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident

  Added to this are excellent working hours. Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-4pm.
