Our client is on the lookout for an experienced food manufacturer, this role requires working with weights up to 25kgs, monitoring equipment, weighing and mixing food ingredients.

While experience working in a food environment is desired it is not essential. You must have though, either a robust understanding or ability to demonstrate, capability of meeting and maintaining strict hygiene requirements.

Due to process requirements there is a significant amount of downtime i.e. human interaction is at a minimum while the product ferments. It is during this time that cleaning and equipment maintenance schedules must be adhered to.

2 people work each shift rotating between operating and cleaning. Time spent between these two activities is based on the individual's level of experience and training.

• Forklift licence and advantage
• Adhere to all H&S procedures
• ONLY NZ residency will be considered

  Please note that this is a learning environment and the first few weeks are devoted to learning a large number of standard operating procedures.

    Candidates for this role will be required to have New Zealand Residency or a New Zealand work permit. We pride ourselves on our stringent health and safety process therefore pre-employment drug screens and random drug tests are carried out on all our construction sites.
