Logistics Supervisor

Our Client is a timber manufacturing plant based here in Rotorua and is looking for an experienced and motivated supervisor to join there logistics department. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, effective and safe processes are in place and adhered to. This is a full-time, permanent position with some flexibility on offer. The role primarily consists of managing inwards and outwards movements whilst maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the stores inventory. Receiving inwards goods, dispatch of outwards goods, loading, stocktaking, pick packing, and operating the forklift are just some of the duties you will perform on a daily basis. You will form part of the management team and work closely with the manufacturing supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly through the business.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Min 3 years experience in a warehouse/stores role
• Be looking for a career and be prepared to step up management to add value to the business
• Pass pre employment drug testing and criminal history check
• Current OSH fork hoist licence and F endorsement is a must
• Good geographical knowledge of NZ
• Able to do heavy work
• Good computer skills
• Prepared to do what it takes to add value to the business
• Excellent Numeracy & literacy
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Team Player with attention to detail in all aspects.
