The logistics coordinator is responsible for effective and efficient support to the Distribution Supervisor and Distribution & Reverse Logistics Manager. It involves activities in master data updates, order cut-off management, organizing order and shipment release with carrier, booking request and confirmation, exception management, customer service, warehouse related administration duties, inventory management and return management.
Responsibilities:
- Check all relevant IT systems; make sure all orders are released for picking before cut off.
- B2B/B2C/Retail delivery coordination as well as any special delivery requirements (eg. Commercial TV and IT products & support for special events as directed by Distribution Manager)
- Customer service for both internal and external parties
- KPI reporting
- Understand Dispatch Policy and able to coordinate and communicate this information with 3PL warehouses for dispatch of orders.
- Daily transport issue resolution
- Reporting and Analysis of Transportation data.
- Warehouse 3PL management and inventory control
What are we looking for:
- Proven experience in a 3PL warehouse environment or Domestic 3PL Transportation and Warehouse providers
- Experience in managing inwards and outwards goods
- Some previous sea freight and freight forwarding experience
- Ability to work in a busy environment under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Past experience in a retail environment would assist this role
- Returns experience, validation, RA entry and arranging collection of defective or damaged products.
- Proven administration and IT skills
- Stong command of the english language
- Strong time management skills
