Whether it’s installing a clutch in a Toyota or working on resource recovery and zero waste projects, or getting into transportation and logistics, this organization requires high quality course materials to train skilled workers of tomorrow.

As a member of the Learning Design team you will be responsible for designing and implementing course materials and liaising with subject matter experts in as many as 15 industries.Working with a wide variety of subject matter experts, being able to talk the talk will be a bonus when reviewing, assessing, and replacing existing materials. Your ability to pick to pick up new information and build relationships will hold you in good stead for the future.

Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in the education sector with at least a minimum of 2 years or more. As an experienced Learning Designer, you will know the how-to’s of embedding numeracy and literacy in your materials, and also have a firm understanding of how to apply good design principles for education. Technical skills with tools such as ADAPT or Storyline is needed.

Working in a friendly team of 6, you will be comfortable working autonomously either in Wellington or the comfort of your home office (wherever that may be) so being able to maintain great communication with the rest of the team on the progress of your projects is key.
