Job description

Our client is one of New Zealand's leading civil construction contractors and they are currently looking for physically fit and reliable Leading Hand with WTR (wheels, tracks & rollers) endorsements and experience on machinery. Holding a full class 2 licence would be an advantage but not critical. Ideally you will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a civil construction environment and operating machinery.

This role will involves general labouring and maintenance duties so you will need to be physically fit, injury free, willing to get your hands dirty and work hard. If you have previous concrete experience this would be a plus.

You will be on call once every 3 weeks.

You must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

This role is an on-going role with the intention for it to become permanent for the right person. This is a big company so there is also plenty of opportunities for career development, training and up-skilling.
