To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

• A trade qualification in Carpentry
• A stable career history with excellent references
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant "hands on" Leading Hand experience
• Experience in commercial construction from set out to fit out
• Experience in management of trades and sub-contractors on-site
• A personable attitude
• A strong eye for detail
• A high level of organisational and time management skills

  In the role you will report to the Project Manager and be involved in the hands-on management of the works on site, from managing, planning, mentoring and leading staff and subcontractors on site, liaising with clients, and rolling up the sleeves when required to get the job done.

  • A wage rate up to $31.50p/h depending on your skill and experience

  • A Labour-only contract rate up to $40p/h depending on your skill and experience.
  • All PPE required on site.
  • Guaranteed payment of weekly wages or invoices if contracting.
  • Assistance with gaining updated Site Safe and EWP tickets if required.
