We are currently seeking a candidate with plentiful experience in the civil industry for a leading hand position based in the Auckland Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating a small team to complete tasks within a given time frame.

The successful candidate must be able to read and understand plans, delegate to their small team, liaise with contractors to ensure that work is completed to their given schedule and with health and safety at the front of mind. Reporting to the Foreman on site and keeping active communication with them is paramount to the success of the site.

You will also need;

* WTR endorsement and ability to operate a range of machinery (Not a necessity but is preferred)

* A high regard for Health & Safety in the workplace.

* The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

* The ability to provide us with two, recent, work related references.

* The ability to perform well under pressure.

* The ability to delegate work efficiently and professionally.

This Role is moderately physical and will require the applicant to be Fit and active. The ideal candidate will be able to get the job done as well as have a laugh with Colleagues at the end of the day.

Although temporary, you could be working up to 12 hours a day Monday - Friday & be happy to work on Saturdays as well if required.
