The Company:

This main contractor has a long history and focusses on commercial construction and as well building quality multi residential projects for the Auckland market. They are well established and have a strong brand. They have been tasked with delivering multiple townhouses ranging from 2- 4 BRM with landscaping.

As a result, they need a site manager to take charge in delivering these.

The Role:

As a manager, you will assume responsibility for a programme of work and your role will cover:

• Working with contractors, consultants and the council to achieve project targets
• Material ordering and supervising contractors onsite
• Health and Safety and ensuring quality control with respect to workmanship
• Site meetings
• Ensuing overall programme is being adhered to and key milestones are being met

Your background:

This role would suit a trade qualified carpenter (LBP) with at least 8 - 10 years’ experience worked in group home/volume building with commercial construction methodologies. Working to tight parameters, you need to be well organised and have ability to find solutions to problems. You can work across personalities managing to strenngts and weaknesses to achieve best results.

Remuneration:

This role is looking to pay anything between $100K - $120K +veh
