Our client are a nationwide company who have been operating in the waste, recycling, resource recovery and parks industries for over 25 years. Our client operate in residential, commercial and council spheres and offer a wide range of services.

Going forward, our client are going from strength to strength with a number of busy local projects across their parks and recreation team.

The role:

With the forward increase in work, our client are looking to add a landscaper/structural maintenance handyman to their team. The right candidate will have proven work experience in either a hammerhand or landscaping capacity, have experience in a transferable field of work.

What's in it for you:

• $20-25 per hour depending on your experience
• 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
• Long term prospects for the right person, however would suit a student looking for work over the summer period looking to keep busy as well

  To be the right fit for the role and the company's brand, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience in a similar or transferable field of work
  • Able to operate machinery such as mowers, tractors, chainsaws and weedeaters
  • Experience in structures - erecting and dismantling
  • Good level of fitness
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Have your own reliable transport and a full class 1 license
  • Have a clean criminal record

    Advantageous but non-essential skills:

    • W, T or R endorsement
    • A qualification in landscaping or horticulture
