Job description

We are looking for a fast learning and driven Inventory Assistant for our busy operations based in Point Chevalier.

In this role you will be doing a variety of tasks that can include the following:
* Inventory handling
* Issue and receipt of goods
* Maintain and administer accurate records of all deliveries and issues
* Weekly stock take and ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained at all times
* Computer skills and MS Office proficiency
* Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
* basic reporting (excel knowledge)
* ability to quickly learn and use in-house systems and applications

Hours of work:
Some flexibility around working hours, preferably available from 8am to 5pm. Monday to Friday.

Please note this work involves a number of physical activities including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods and using heavy equipment. You will be comfortable working within a team, but also be driven for the times that you may be working alone.

Pay rate starts from $22 per hour depending on experience.

You will need to have a positive attitude and be reliable for full time work. You will be a Team player with a good sense of humour and ability to take ownership of your work.

You will need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
Disclose any convictions and to provide 2 x working references.
