I am seeking an Intermediate Java Developer with experience mostly in back end but open to doing some front-end user interface work, for a 6-month contract role in Wellington!!

To be successful for this role you will need to have the following experience:

Mandatory requirements :

• Proficient in Groovy or Scala (both would be great) Or Java+Ruby if we can't find someone with either of these.
• Understanding of wider Java ecosystem
• Comfortable with designing, developing and testing code
• Ability to test drive and refactor code
• Able to collaborate as part of a wider team, pairing on solutions at times
• Fast learner 

Optional:

• REST API experience
• Experience with MuleSoft connectors or ESB integration/middleware
• AS/2 experience or Basic UI (eg. Swing or Eclipse plugin)
• Swing or SWT would be a bonus
