Our client in the Government sector is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to start ASAP, through till the end of June 2020!

They require someone who is keen to be involved with not just their extensive and enterprise scale technology portfolio, but also help the organisation to transform their infrastructure services to support modern IT operating environments.

Your tasks will involve:

• Working with a broad team of highly motivated Technical Designers, Infrastructure, Enterprise and Solutions Architects
• Developing, enhancing and renewing the infrastructure technology strategies, roadmaps, design methodologies and practices,
• Working in partnership with the Enterprise Architect & IT Applications teams to set the technology direction for Infrastructure Services and the wider IT team
• Create technical solutions that are secure and meet agreed patterns
• Providing technical and financial analysis and propose alternate options for new solutions.

Skills and experience that are essential for the role include;

• Architecture and design
• Cross-functional integration and negotiation
• Experience of creating IT infrastructure strategies and technology roadmaps
• Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions
• Internal business case or job sizing
