Job description

This exciting position has been created on the back of recent growth within the company. It offers a number of roles within the operational aspect of the business, giving variation so that every day is different.

Duties and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Import/Export Operations:
Liaising with carriers/shipping company’s/overseas and local agents to make bookings.
Working with suppliers & clients to ensure correct documents are provided.
Managing job work flow from start to finish.
Data entry of jobs, orders and shipments into freight software system
Preparing shipments for Customs entry and sign off.
Provide customer service by taking phone calls, updating customers by phone and email on the status of shipments.

Administration:
Checking supplier invoices/quotes and auto rating these where applicable.
Invoicing customers for shipments/jobs where applicable.
To run errands around the Auckland area, which can include the pick-up and drop-off of small consignments where required.
General office administration jobs.

The ideal applicant will have:
* Customs Broker PIN - This is Not Negotiable and crucial to the role!
* Ability to learn quickly and be adaptable
* Ability to Multi-task and to work under pressure
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Good level of computer skills
* Experience with CaroWise software preferred but not essential.
* A high level of personal presentation and hygiene.
* Full drivers' licence with clean driving record.

PLEASE NOTE, this is a permanent, full time position and only candidates with a VALID WORK VISA ( without restrictions) or RESIDENTS and CITIZENS of New Zealand will be considered for the role.
