Job description

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a well-established organisation based in Southland. An excellent foundation has been set in this department and we are now seeking and exceptional HR Specialist to continue the HR function and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in implementation of human resources programs and policies
  • Supports leaders and HR Business Partners with the implementation of operational projects and annual activities such as salary reviews and talent reviews
  • Advises on HR policies and procedures, employee relations, performance, labour and regulatory issues
  • Provides coaching to leaders to support effect workplace relationships and increase employee management
  • Employee engagement, remuneration/benefits, performance and capability improvement, attractions and retention initiatives
  • Project HR work set by the organisations strategic review

    This is a robust role for someone who has 5 to 10 year's generalist experience, or 5 year's specialist experience.
