HR ADVISOR

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their supportive team at Apata Group Limited. 

Their mission is to lift key staff engagement and reduce waste in core HR processes. They want to get the best out of their people through systems, processes, standards, intelligence and advisory services making them the first choice of employer.

This role reports directly to the HR Manager and is integral to the operation of the site therefore Mentoring and Coaching skills are vital as you will work alongside both the managers and a developing HR Assistant.An eye for detail is a must and most importantly a sense of humour is essential. With substantial future growth in the organisation there are opportunities for career development and contribution to the development of their HR functions.

Whakamārama (Between Tauranga and Katikati)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Recruit and employ for seasonal and permanent roles
• Oversee the delivery of site inductions and identify training requirements
• Maintain and improve Health and Safety framework
• Lead incident investigations and reviews
• Optimise workforce and quotas
• Monitor and report on work hours and manage timesheets for payroll
• Build people capability with peer to peer coaching
• Business Partnering and Relationship Management
• Deliver on continuous improvement focus and participate in achieving goals

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a proven Human Resources professional with solid employment relations skills and knowledge
• Have relevant HR Qualifications or equivalent of 3 years experience
• Able to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people
• Have a system and process improvement mindset
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook
• Sound employment relations skills
