We are in need of a Fabrication and Workshop Technician to join a forestry company based in Katikati.

This is a varied role which will see you being the go to resource for all heavy (and some light) fabrication work as well as playing an important role supporting other Technicians in the repair and maintenance to trucks, excavation machinery, transporters, bin trucks, hooks, rebuilds of Utes and a range of other mechanical equipment.

This position may suit someone from a heavy automotive or engineering background, who can turn their hand to a variety of tasks, and enjoys problem solving.

Ideally we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
* Pneumatic experience.
* Hydraulic experience
* Welding experience
* Heavy and Light fabrication work
* Able to work unsupervised and plan your day to meet deadlines
* Automotive electrical understanding
* Eye for detail

While this is a workshop based position, there may be a requirement to work on machinery on sites from time to time.
