Health Care Assistant

Medical and Nursing

Job description

This vital New Zealand organisation has embarked an innovative programme for a key Government department that creates alternative pathways for people with addictions.  For you, this is an opportunity to make a difference to the community and New Zealand.

Your high attention to detail and personal resilience will enable you to provide accurate and timely collection and screening services. This will involve everything from collecting urine samples and administrative details from participants in the programme to maintaining case files and providing customer support (both internally and externally).  Here, your maturity, positive attitude and ability to engage with others to diffuse sometimes difficult situations will set you apart.

Your ability to build relationships at all levels, your non-judgmental and confidential approach will bring you to success in this role.  Sound organisational and computer skills are essential as is your strong attention to deal. You will also need a full, clean driver’s license and be willing to work on weekends and public holidays (on call) from time-to-time.

If you are keen to make a difference in the community that will take you out and about, please contact Annie O’Keefe online today.
