The Client

My Client is a an international technology organisation with operations in New Zealand. Due to their exisiting Group Accountant moving on from the organisation, an immediate need for a highly competent Accountant is required in the interim.

The Role

You will be a an experienced Accountant with experience operating in a changing environment. This role is all about getting the basics right and ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are seamlessly met. The role includes oversight of Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and NZGAAP, group consolidation and board reporting, treasury and returns. As ths is a sole charge role, the need to be hands on is imerative. This is an end to end role.

You

You will be CA qualified with a experience managing an accounting function. Ideally you will be a seasoned contractor with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders and other key personel. You will have exceptional accounting skills and the ability to work with financial systems, ideally Dynamics, although this is not essential. this is a sole charge role and as such you will have to have exceptional communication skills to build relationships at a GM and sales level.
