The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced operator to join our large client with a strong forward workload. You will be working on a multi-year project on the understanding this will lead to a permanent position. This assignment is based within the Nelson region and will involve early morning starts and possibly some late finishes as it gets busier - who doesn't want extra hours to save for Christmas holidays!

                  The Requirements:

                  • Licences - W,T,R with a Class 2 and 4 being advantageous
                    • A minimum of 2 years' operating experience with Class 2 or 4 truck experience being beneficial
                      • Ideally be able to construct and build roads from scratch
                        • Strong finishing skills on a grader with or without GPS
                          • Have a proactive approach towards Health and Safety
                            • Be prepared to work as a team player
                              • Under-go and pass a pre-employment drug screen

                                This is a long term role for the right candidate. A great attitude and willingness to learn are a must and you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contracts.
