OneStaff are New Zealand's leading industrial recruitment agency and we are currently building a pool of production staff for our client's milk packaging operation in Longburn.

We are looking for someone who has had experience working within a factory environment that is happy to return to this type of work. Alternatively, someone who is reliable and has a genuine interest in the production and manufacturing industry. You will bring with you the ability to work autonomously and within a team. You will be comfortable working within a structured work environment and standing on your feet for the majoity of the day.

The responsibilities within the role are as follows:

• Working at the end of a production line - pushing a button to seal the bag once filled to capacity
• Manual Handling of product - moving product to a designated area in the factory, no more than 15kgs at a time
• Liaising with supervisor of any concerns or issues with machinery or production

    Days & Hours:

    This is an on call casual role and you may be required to work one to four shifts a week depending on what cover is required. Our client operates 24/7 and we have shifts avaliable from 6am - 6pm (days) or 6pm - 6am (nights). Our client is based in Longburn, 5 minutes south of Palmerston North so travel to and from work will be required.

    You will need to pass the following pre-employment screening:

    • Pre-employment drug test
    • Ministry of Justice background check (some driving charges may be accepted)
    • ACC history check
    • Driver licence (minimum full) and own reliable transport
