Gardener - Storm Water/Open Drains/Stream's/Gully Restoration

Fit capable with interest in the Environment * Job will be working in the water ways and gullys, scrub/bush clearing work * tree removal * planting * horticulture back ground * need to be mulit-skilled * team player * Must have Full licence & Class 2 preferable * Will be using weed eaters, chainsaws and weed spayers.

Requirements for the role:

• Full drivers licence is a MUST and the ability to drive a manual vehicle
• Relevant industry and work experience
• Physically fit and a good level of fitness, be hard working and have good work ethic
• Eligible to work in NZ

  Using a wide range of horticultural equipment and techniques you will be tasked with general garden maintenance duties which will include planting, pruning, spraying, hedge trimming and rubbish collection. The ability to work as part of a wider team to meet contract requirements is also a must.

  Success Factors

  You'll enjoy physical work, working outdoors and getting stuck in.

  • You will have a minimum of level 3 qualification in horticulture or 2 years of gardening experience.
  • Ideally you will have a current Grow safe and Approved Handlers certificate
  • You will be great at building relationship and have excellent communication skills
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
