Our client has an immediate job opportunity available for an experienced gardener; to join their crew that make the Oamaru parks and community areas look nicely presented and well maintained.

This role is a temporary, full time position.

If you have a green thumb, or just a passion for work outdoors - this may be just the role for you!

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Physically fit and able - as this is a physically demanding role
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty in all weather
• Have excellent communication skills and take direction
• Ability to work in a small team, as well as have the initiative and self-motivation to work alone
• Take responsibility and pride in your work
• Proven experience in labour-intensive/gardening roles - Horticulture or Turf Management experience is ideal
• Full driver's license and own transport is advantageous
• A GrowSafe qualification is beneficial
