Our client is well known in the transport industry based within the Palmerston North region and nationwide. Candidates we're seeking will enjoy a fast paced industry, be physically fit, reliable and be able to use initiative whilst working in a team environment.

The role involves manually sorting freight ready for dispatch to help courier drivers prepare for their daily runs. You will need to be physically fit and able capable of lifting up to 25kgs. With the busy Christmas season upon us this is great opportunity to secure on-going work with possible permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

We have two shifts available:

Monday - Friday 3pm - 9pm (Days)

Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am (Evenings)

Hourly rate will vary between the two shifts. Day shift $17.96 and Evening shift $20.00 per hour. (evening shift includes a night shift allowance)

We are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

To be considered for this positions you must meet the following criteria:

• Local knowledge of locations and streets within the Manawatu region
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean criminal record - some driving charges are OK
• Must have own reliable transport
• Excellent recent references
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
