Job description
Our client is currently seeking a Freight Labourer/Offsider to join their dynamic team and cover their early 4am shift.
The successful candidate will assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of freight. This is a physically demanding job and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the loading and unloading of freight from trucks and trailers.
* Ensure that all freight is secured and transported safely.
* Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring that it is clean and organized.
* Operate hand and power tools as required.
* Assist in the packaging and labelling of freight.
* Maintain accurate records of all freight movements.
* Assist in the coordination of delivery schedules with customers.
* Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* A full, clean driver's license
