My Client is a privately-owned successful business with a Multimillion-dollar turnover. They have a significant property portfolio, retail and manufacturing operation.

As part of their continued successful growth they are currently looking for an exceptional finance professional who can support the commercial operations largely around the Property and Retail activities.

With over 30 years in the market and a very unique offering this is a very unique offering for a highly commercial accountant to add value and support the organisational growth.

This role is all about the commercial, analysing the retail operation providing insights and advice to support decisions, understanding the existing property portfolio and supporting due diligence on potential acquisitions. Of course, there will be a requirement to provide core Accounting duties and compliance.

Key aspects to the position include

  • Financial Reporting
  • Budgeting / Forecasting
  • People Management (Team of 2)
  • Feasibility Analysis
  • Treasury management (USD)

About you

You will be a highly commercial individual with experience engaging at a senior level and supporting key strategic decisions. Ideally you will have experience across property acquisitions and/or Retail property and operations. You must have experience engaging at an executive level across but also have the ability to support and engage across all levels. Ideally you will be CA qualified or qualified by experience and have a strong understanding of NZ compliance.
