The Company

My client is a large, well-known financial services organisation, based in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, who are going through a significant period of change and growth. Due to this growth, they are looking to recruit a new Financial Accountant to join their diverse, hard-working and high-performing team.

The Role

The role is part of the financial accounting team, reporting into the financial accounting manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Preparing month end processes
  • P&L review
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with financial statements
  • Assist with board reporting
  • Internal audit processes

About You

This role requires a real self-starter, who is autonomous and able to demonstrate process improvements and efficiencies.

You will ideally have;

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Completed or working towards CA qualification
  • Minimum of two years commercial accounting experience
  • Strong communication skills, able to converse at all levels
  • Confident and friendly personality
  • Curious about business processes and eager to learn
