The Company & Role

Our client is an iconic brand with a strong reputation in the Auckland market. The finance function, led by the Chief Financial Officer, are a close and personable team with a strong culture.
The Finance Manager role will work closely with the CFO and be the 2IC for the finance team, allowing for the opportunity to develop staff management skills. There will be the chance to own the finance process and systems and assist with the development and growth of commercial activities. The role is based in Auckland Central and comes with a car park.

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly reports for the Board
• Prepare statutory annual reports and audit
• Assist with the assumptions and compilation of the annual budget
• Backup for the payroll functions: processing, payments and administration
• Taxation compliance
• Maintain the fixed asset register

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 5-10 years experience in a senior finance role
• Experience with annual statutory reporting and IFRS
• Experience with preparing budgets and forecasts
• Monthly management reporting and analysis
• Payroll experience / knowledge
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
