The Company

My client is a New Zealand operated business in the financial services sector, based on the North Shore of Auckland. Although they are already a market leader in their field, they are continuing to grow significantly, due to the strong partnerships that the business has created.

The Role

Due to this continued growth, they are looking to appoint a new Finance Business Partner to join the team. The role will have an initial focus on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standard 17 (IFRS 17), as well as being responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders;

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Providing sound commercial advice
• Monitoring and reviewing cost centres
• Tracking financial performance for projects

About You

The ideal candidate will possess;

• Experience working in a similar role (Finance Business Partner, Commercial Advisor, etc)
• Experience working in Insurance and/or Financial Services
• Experience working with or implementing IFRS 17
• CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Strong communication skills, able to “paint a picture with the numbers”
