• $100 per hour / 3 Month contract

This role sits within Financial Performance team and the FBP will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support and advice to 2 and 3 tier management to enable them make strategic decisions.  You will be an expert in Investment planning with in the coporate IT area.

Essential experience, skills and qualities:

• Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification
• Previous work experience with the development of business cases, cabinet papers, budget papers and capital related budget initiatives
• Demonstrable experience in providing proactive, objective and high quality financial advice, information and analysis and interpretation on business unit financial and business performance issues
• Previous experience working strategically and applying critical thinking, as well as sound judgment, in the development of options and provision of advice
• Tier 1 enterprise resource and planning systems including Oracle FMIS and budgeting, forecasting  and reporting tool experience
• Wide experience working in the processes of Government is strongly preferred, along with the critical requirement of a sound knowledge of the legislative framework (including the Public Finance Act) and other guidelines that apply to financial management and accounting in the government.
