My client is a well respected leader in the commercial door industry. Specialising in a wide range of products including but not limited to: Coolroom Doors, Fast moving Fabric/Flexiable doors & curtains, Commercial roller shutters, Sectional doors, insulated traffic doors & fire protection - They are on the hunt to add a seasoned Service Technician to there well established team! You could be based anywhere in the Bay of Plenty with the preference being, Tauranga - Rotorua or Te Puke.

This service role has a strong electrical / controls focus with some mechanical knowledge required.

You will be:

Doing all things doors! Maintaining service contracts, attending warranty jobs, commissioning, attending breakdowns and undertaking preventative maintenance. This is a busy fast paced role, where no two days are the same! With technology moving and changing there is always opportunity to up skill & cross train - this company has a fantastic salary / training matrix so can control your pay increases!

You need:

* Min 5 years experience in a field or large scale manufacturing based service role preferably or ATMs/Dental Equipment/Electrical servicing

* Have a strong electrical aptitude
* Excellent diagnostic skills & mechanical aptitude
* A full clean drivers license
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance role would be proffered
* A excellent understanding of H & S
* Strong communication skills - as you will be client facing
* A GREAT sense of humour - this company culture is FUN

This role is a work from home scenario, so ideally you will have a garage/secure workspace you can use. THe company will reimburse you for the use of this space and provide all insurances ect.
