Job description

Our Client is a not for profit organisation in the heart of Rotorua who are here to make a difference for individuals and families/whanau who are experiencing family violence or who are in difficult circumstances.

They are looking for someone who shares their vision and can work closely with whanau and the community in a culturally appropriate way that promotes whanau ora.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Have an understanding or have worked the area of family violence and sexual violence.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally
  • Understand Tikanga Maori, advantageous if you are fluent in Te Reo.
  • Confident with Microsoft applications
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to get in front of groups and facilitate non-violence messaging and strategies
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks to deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A great work ethic and strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • A full clean licence or restricted licence is needed as travel may be required.
