  Your day to day duties are varied and will include:

  • Managing fabrication team (high technical ability)
  • Quoting and costing jobs and advising on work plans
  • Ensuring the yard is neat and tidy at all times
  • Complete complex fabrication jobs
  • Scheduling to agreed time frames
  • Site measurements
  • House-keeping of all factory equipment and tools
  • Adherence of the team for H&S procedures
  • Fencing and Gate experience (desirable)

    To be successful in joining our client's business you will need to demonstrate you have:

    • Proven work history of several years in a fabrication business
    • A Welding Certificate
    • Ability to interpret plans and drawings
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Good knowledge of computer systems including excel
    • 2+ years leadership experience managing a small team
    • Forklift Licence (desirable)
    • Full NZ Drivers Licence
    • Flexibility to work both on and off site
    • NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident

      You will have a positive 'can do' attitude, be ethical, and honest, and have a good sense of humour. You must have high attention to detail, great customer service, be methodical, and have the ability to prioritise, while collaboratively working alongside your team.
