Job description

An East Tamaki based branch of New Zealand's largest crayfish company is in need of a Factory Supervisor to join their professional operation. They are a modern operation and have high health and safety, quality and hygene standards.

Organising the preparation (packing, grading, qc, dispatch) of orders in the factory as well as adhering to compliance, related paperwork and leading a team of 15 staff will be required as well as hands-on factory duties. Also, in absense of the factory manager this person will autonomously run the factory.

Hours of work can vary however the aim is between 8.00 - 4.30/5pm. The days may vary as well.

Skills & experience:

  • E-cert approval and capabilities
  • Seafood/fresh food processing experience
  • Processing and packing experience
  • RMP(S) familiarity
  • Previously held a position supervising staff
  • Able to work flexible hours and days
  • Confident in using excel and word documents
  • Take pride in your health and safety focus
