Our client is a well-established, innovative local production and manufacturing company who produce high quality food products with a good dose of classic Kiwi ingenuity!

Our client are looking for an engineer/handyman with a 'number 8 wire' mentality to join their team and work alongside their site engineer and manufacturing team.

No formal qualifications are required, however experience in being able to 'patch things up', and engineer solutions with machinery and materials is essential.

Monday - Friday working week, hours being 12:00pm - 9:00pm.

  Requirements:

  • Experience in repairs, maintenance and alterations of machinery
  • Understand mechanics behind motors and gearboxes
  • Mechanically minded and innovative - someone who can think and act on the spot
  • Good level of computer use and literacy
  • A good attitude and willingness to learn is a MUST

    Advantageous experience/skills:

    • Current OSH certificate
