Facilities Technician / Carpenter

Auckland

Urgently looking for an experienced person who is considering a long-term permanent role based in Auckland.This role entails working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver a high-quality service. The position therefore requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time, and the time of others to meet deadlines. The role is hands-on and requires you to perform several physical activities including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and using small and large, hand or power equipment.

MUST HAVE

  • Trade certification or licence in relevant field
  • Valid, full drivers licence
  • Current first aid certificate preferred
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and risk management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of current industry standards relevant to trades services operations

    EXPERIENCE

    • Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area required
    • Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests required
    • Experience using hand or power equipment required

      The purpose of the Facilities Technician - Carpenter position is to complete work which requires you to have relevant trade skills in a manner consistent with the high standards expected by my client's customers. The Technician is further responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues, customers, and the public.
