The role:

This role is a Export Seafreight Operator. You will ideally be experienced as an Export Operator - ideally in freight forwarding and if you understand the Pacific Island trade, thats a bonus although not essential. The core of the role covers:

• Taking export bookings
• Co-ordination of bookings with the shipping lines
• Co-ordinating FAK's
• Processing export documentation
• Customer service - dealing with shipping lines, customers and any general enquiries
• Invoicing
• Prealerting

  
  
  What else do you need to know?:
  
  This role is Monday to Friday with hours 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. As you well know that with the freight industry, there is the need to do overtime when required so flexibility in your hours will be needed. The salary will depend on your previous experience but our client will consider up to 65K for the right person.
  
  
  
  You will need to be self motivated, have a great attitude, work hard, have a good eye for detail, great co-ordination skills and EDI experience is ideal.
