Our client is a busy family owned engineering company based in Papamoa.

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their team. The role will focus on the manufacturing and maintaining of sawmilling equipment. You are required to have solid and proven sawmilling industry knowledge- with maintenance and fitting being your strength.

Previous Heavy machinery maintenance experience would be an advantage

You will also have proven experience as a structural welder - and be confident to read plans, understand specifications and weld to spec. You will be motivated to succeed.

Please note there is some away work with this role for shutdowns.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Excellent work ethic - you need to be determined to learn and succeed
• Experience is all aspects of welding including Mig/ Tig welding, Arc/Stick welding experience
• Proven sawmilling equipment experience
• Structural steel welding experience
• Aluminium
• Fabrication
• Ability to work from plans
• Aptitude to work independently or as part of a team
• Ticketed welders only apply
• Must have two proven work references
