The Opportunity:

Our client, a successful and established Civil Construction firm out of Christchurch, has picked up a major project in Marlborough. This project is a technically challenging Civil undertaking and your involvement will take pride of place in future CV's. This opportunity will suit a hardworking & competent operator who is looking to be involved with a long-term major project.

We are looking to recruit a total of 2-3 operators across the project. Experience across bulk earthworks and services and significant hours in 12 - 30 tonne machines will be highly regarded.

All roles will lead to permanent positions for suitable candidates as our client looks to establish a solid pipeline of work across the Top of the South. This upcoming project is in addition to a multi-million dollar, multi-year project started in Nelson earlier this year. This is a great opportunity to join a large and well established Civil firm that is growing and invests heavily in staff development.

            The Requirements:

            • Licenses - W,T,R with a Class 2
              • Bulk/Services/Drainage/Trenching experience
                • GPS system experience beneficial but not necessary
                  • A minimum of 2 years' operating experience
                    • You must be physically fit and capable - and not afraid of hard work
                      • Have a proactive approach towards Health and Safety
                        • Be prepared to work as a team player

                          Candidates for this role will be required to complete a Ministry of Justice check and have New Zealand Residency or a New Zealand work permit. We pride ourselves on our stringent health and safety process, therefore, pre-employment drug screens and random drug tests are carried out on all of our sites.
