Job description

We are in need of a Certified Estimator, with a minimum of 3 years experience in the construction and heavy construction services industry.

The ideal candidate will have to be able to prepare work that needs to be estimated or tendered through gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents while identifying labour, materials and time requirements.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Producing tenders on time
* Client contact and client service
* Business Development
* Producing tender documents to the highest standards
* Provide budgeting, programming and planning resources
* Train and Mentor QS to undertake estimating responsibilities
* Administer tenders for all projects
* Stakeholder engagement
* Estimation and budgeting of materials needed
* Record keeping
* Data Entry
* Management of sub-contract agreements
* Managing budgets on projects
* Managing and capture variations to ensure profitability
* Health and Safety
* Management Reporting

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as an estimator in the construction industry. You will also have strong analytical, planning and organising skills. Your excellent client relationship building skills and sound commercial judgement will ensure your success in this role.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience within the construction and or engineering industry dealing with tenders and tender submissions would be ideal.
